Cancellation Policy

We would like to thank all of our clients for making Alt Salon such an in-demand salon! As a result, everything we do is by appointment. Please understand that our time is valuable, so when you cancel your appointment without giving enough notice, our stylists miss the opportunity for income as well as the opportunity to fill that appointment time with guest who would be available to come in during that reserved time.

 A credit card on file is required to reserve an appointment.

 Guests will generally be allowed a 15-minute grace period after the originally scheduled appointment time. After that time, we will call to check in. If you are able to make it in time for your entire service to be completed, great! If not, you may have to forgo parts of the service in order to keep it in the time allotted for you.

If you are needing to reschedule an appointment, please contact the salon or your stylist directly. We graciously ask that you give us 48 hours' notice if you are unable to attend your appointment, so we have a better chance at filling that slot. However, we do require a minimum 24 hours' notice for rescheduling and cancellations. Any cancellations made within that 24-hour period including same-day cancellations or last minute reschedules will result in a cancellation fee equal to 50% of the total service dollar amount for which your appointment was scheduled. This fee will be automatically charged to the card saved on file and will be non-refundable or transferred to a future appointment.

No-call/no-shows will be charged 100% of the total services.

Please let us know if you if you are unable to make your appointment to avoid being charged. 

If we are unable to process your cancellation fee and you wish you book a future appointment, we will require a rebooking fee for the previous cancellation fee. 

As a courtesy, our system automatically sends confirmation texts and/or emails to confirm the date and time 48 hours and 24 hours prior to your scheduled appointment. Please make sure you are opted in to receive our notifications. Please also take a moment to confirm your appointment once it is received. If we are unable to reach you, please understand that it is your responsibility to remember your appointment time.

We do, of course, understand that unavoidable circumstances come up and we will do our best to work with you in case of an emergency. We very much appreciate your business and adherence to our policy!

The dangers of COVID-19 are not completely behind us. Therefore, we encourage you to reschedule your appointment if you are feeling at all under the weather. You will not be charged a cancellation fee if you need to cancel for an illness related reason.

Alt Salon continues to employ the cleaning and sanitation practices of each station between every guest. Our common areas and frequently used spaces will be sanitized frequently throughout the day as well.

We also ask that you please continue to refrain from bringing additional guests with you to your appointment (including children) unless they are receiving a service, due to our limited seating and workspace.
