Cancellation Policy

We would like to thank all of our clients for making Alt Salon such an in demand salon! Due to this, everything we do is by appointment. Please understand that our time is valuable, so when you forget or cancel your appointment without giving enough notice, we miss the opportunity to fill that appointment time.

Clients will generally be allowed a 15 minute grace period after the originally scheduled appointment time. After that time, we will call to check in. If you are able to make it in time for your entire service to be completed, great! If not, you may have to forgo parts of the service in order to keep it in the time allotted for you. If you are needing to reschedule an appointment, please contact the salon before closing time the day prior to your appointment. Same day cancellations, last minute reschedules and no-call/no-shows will require a deposit to be made for any new appointment. A $25 deposit will be required for cancelled haircut appointments and a $50 deposit will be required for cancelled color appointments. It is not a fee. The deposit secures the new appointment spot and the deposit amount will be deducted from the total service cost on that day. However, if you do not show up to the appointment that the deposit was made for, the deposit will be kept in full.

As a courtesy, we do call, text and/or email to confirm the date and time at least 24 hours prior to your appointment. If we are unable to reach you, please understand that it is your responsibility to remember your appointment time. We do, of course, understand that unavoidable issues come up and will do our best to work with you in case of an emergency. We very much appreciate your business and compliance with our policy!
