Cancellation Policy
To cancel an appointment, please call the salon at 505-293-4247 or contact your stylist directly.
We would like to thank all of our clients for making Alt Salon such an in demand salon! As a result, everything we do is by appointment. Please understand that our stylists’ time is valuable, so when you cancel your appointment without giving enough notice, we miss the opportunity to fill that appointment time. A credit card will be required to be on file to book an appointment.
Clients will generally be allowed a 15 minute grace period after the originally scheduled appointment time. After that time, we will call to check in. If you are able to make it in time for your entire service to be completed, great! If not, you may have to forgo parts of the service in order to keep it in the time allotted for you. You are still responsible for the entire time reserved. If you are needing to reschedule an appointment, please contact the salon 48 hours in advance. Cancelations within 24 hours, same-day cancellations, last minute reschedules, and no-call/no-shows will result in a cancellation fee equal to 50% of the total service amount for which your appointment was scheduled. This fee will be automatically charged to the card saved on file and will be non-refundable.
As a courtesy, we do text, and/or email to confirm the date and time 48 hours prior to your appointment. We also send a second reminder 24 hours prior to your appointment. If we are unable to reach you, please understand that it is your responsibility to remember your appointment time. We do, of course, understand that unavoidable issues come up and we will do our best to work with you in case of an emergency. We very much appreciate your business and adherence to our policy!
